Great session today at Crafty, St Martins
We discussed with amazing success of Sabina and her team with Falcon Services (Loughborough) in supporting the homeless community with smoking cessation sessions and how Public Health have adapted their approach service delivery to the clients varying and sometimes complex needs. There was some discussion of how, in the city, we could replicate this success story.
Chris B from Leicester City Council, Housing gave us an update on the expansion on temporary accommodation spaces planned for singles and families over the next 12 months.
Mel from Housing Networks gave us an oversight of their role and commitment with accommodation in the city.
We discussed the forthcoming Homeless link annual conference on 8/9th June in Nottingham and that tickets are available on the website.
