We are recruiting for a Mental Health Support Worker, working 20 hours per week across 4 weekdays (hours may be worked within typical school timings) – see information attached.
As a Support Worker your role will make a real difference to the lives of adults with a mental health diagnosis, enabling them to live as independently as possible.

About you
We are looking for committed individuals who are driven by a desire to make real difference to the lives of adults living with mental health conditions with:
✅ A minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience and / or a minimum of level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or similar related subject
✅A positive ‘can do’ attitude, and a willingness to actively support residents with daily living tasks.
✅ Effective communication & interpersonal skills (verbal and written), with an ability to listen in an active and non-judgemental manner
✅ Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
✅ Access to your own transport that ensures swift and smooth transitions between locations in and around Leicester City and Leicestershire (mileage paid for use of vehicle).
✅The right to work in the UK; this role does not offer visa sponsorship.
