Providing a safe environment for homeless young people
Hinckley Homeless Group runs a supported accommodation for young homeless people between the ages of 16 and 25. Lawrence House is staffed 24 hours a day and has 12 bedrooms providing support for both male and females who can live here for up to 2yrs. The aim of Lawrence House is to be a safe and friendly environment in which one to one support is given to enable residents to learn independence, access help and advice and engage in meaningful occupation. As an independent local charity with no statutory funding we rely on the support of our local community, through one-off financial donations, regular standing orders and fundraising activities.
The accommodation is suitable for
- Lawrence House: Single people aged 17-25 years old, without dependants
- Move-on: Single people aged 18-26 years old, without dependants
- People actively seeking to improve their situation
- Those who want to succeed with the support we can offer
- Those who really do want to take the first steps in achieving their own sustainable accommodation.
