This week Stephen Bryan JP, The High Sheriff of Leicester attended the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Homeless Alliance (LLR) to award and recognise the work the members in providing great and valuable services to the community.
“Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) Homelessness Alliance are a collective group of organisations who work with those experiencing or at risk of homelessness in LLR. By working in partnership, the Alliance members will work towards creating a significant positive impact on reducing homelessness and rough sleeping in the region. The members work to build and maintain strong partnerships across LLR, creating an inclusive system that proactively meets the needs of those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
As High Sheriff, I have been greatly impressed by the work I have seen across the Alliance, and this award is presented in recognition of the contribution that each individual member of the partner organisations’ teams of professional and volunteer helpers deliver each day, every day, against all the odds, as you work to deliver emergency housing and specialist support which shows not only that you care, as individuals, but also you help make life a little more bearable for homeless people.
Your dedication is seen, and your hard work on behalf of others, is highly respected and admired.
Thank you, each and every one of you, for all you do
It gives me great pleasure to present this High Sheriffs award to Rachel Hall.Chair Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) Homelessness Alliance.” – Stephen Bryan, JP, The High Sheriff of Leicester
