Storehouse is run by Melton Vineyard church and supported by Churches together in Melton Mowbray. We put together food bags for those who are most in need; for example, those who are waiting for a benefit payment to arrive or struggling to survive on a very low income.

As well as offering food, clothing, bedding, baby equipment and various household appliances, we now also have a new upstairs café, baby changing facilities and shelter bags for those who are sleeping rough. Our services are available to those who are living in the Melton borough and have been referred by local agencies, however there is no need to be referred for our free café,
everyone is welcome!
We also offer hygiene facilities where our guests who are rough sleeping can shower, brush teeth etc.
Our food bags are now customisable in our shop, this service is free and allows people who are referred to us to have greater choice over their diet.
I need some help from Storehouse, how do I get referred?
Lots of places in Melton refer people to Storehouse. Our main referrers are Melton Borough Council, MADMAC, Adult social care, social services, Citizens Advice or you could speak to a support worker if you have one. These referrers will assess your situation over the phone or in person and fill out a referral form for you.
