The Bridge helps people across the county who are homeless, at risk of losing their home, or struggling to keep their home safe and affordable.

We offer practical advice and support with housing problems, money worries, family difficulties, finding somewhere to live, keeping a tenancy, and reducing energy costs.

Our services include:

First contact support for people who are not sure where to start or need help to find the right service.

Housing advice for people facing homelessness, rent or mortgage arrears, disrepair, eviction, neighbour disputes or problems with housing applications.

Support for young people and families, including mediation and counselling where family relationships are under pressure.

Specialist help for 16 and 17 year olds who are at risk of homelessness or having difficulties where they live.

Support for people moving on from rough sleeping, including help to find and keep safe, stable accommodation.

Accommodation support for people working with the Probation Service, including help before release from custody and support in the community.

Home energy advice for people at risk of fuel poverty, including help to reduce energy costs and access further support.

Our aim is to help people get the right support early, understand their options, and move towards a safer, more stable home.
