Action Homeless is a thriving local Charity (No.702230) and social enterprise committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness in Leicestershire. Action Homeless have been based in Leicester for 50 years and help individuals and families from across the city and county. Most services form part of Leicester’s Homelessness Pathway and should be accessed via Leicester City Council’s referral route, however, a small number of services can be accessed directly. HITS Homes Trust was established in 1981 to provide supported housing to young people and give them a chance to live independently! Not only do we help get people a safe room off the streets, but we also support our residents with advice on their bills, help them talk to the council, and have an on site office with staff who will help however they can.
